We are packin the RV to head north. Please pray for us, the ground is already saturated from last two weeks of heavy rains, and the 5th wheel keeps sinking as we try to get it out.....
Danni's bank, where she works is low on money...but they are still requiring her to work today. Gas station lines were horrible last night. I am predicting a mess.
Since we are new homeowners, we were worried about flooding, but another neighbor stopped this morning to tell us we are on the high ground in the neighborhood.
Our son who was working in Alabama has already been flown to Amarillo by his company, so we know he is ok.

| I have been out of the loop lately, and did not even know about Gustav until I read your topic. It sounds pretty bad. You guys better get to safer ground, and you are always welcome to come stay with us. We will have a rental next week. This can't be good for the economy either. Especially if it shuts down all the gas refineries.

We are home and everything here is fine! Got to spend some time with family we hadn't seen in a long time...had a blast, but now we have lots of work to do, unload the big RV and put things back in place.....fun, fun, fun!!!!
Gas stations are now open and actually have gas, businesses are opening slowly, weird hours, but that is because of lack of employees back in the area.
Things will be back to normal soon! Thanks for your prayers!

That's a great way to get a vacation! I heard that there could be more storms coming... any your way?
